Honeysuckle is a common climbing shrub with tubular flowers that are usually very fragrant. The blooms are most commonly white and/or yellow, often on the same vine. Inside the flower is a tube of sweet sap which attracts bees, butterflies, and moths. The park where I shot this was choked with the fragrances of honeysuckle and jasmine. When I was a child we had honeysuckle in the yard, We would pull a flower, bite off the end and suck out the sweet nectar. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.
From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene.
