A competitor in a rodeo must maintain is seat on the back of the bucking bronco or bull for 8 terrifying seconds while the animal gives it his best effort to throw the rider off. I was trying to recreate what things look like to the rider while he is holding on for his life and his place in the event while being thrown back and forth violently. If you look closely you can see his hat flying off, his arm in at least two positions, and the fringe on his chaffs flying. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.
From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device.
