Although the statue was quite beautiful, the expression on the angel's face I found to be rather lacking in feeling. The eyes were vacant and the mouth expressionless. That is why I named her the Angel of Death. Not a grieving angel but one sent to bring the departed home. Original photograph by Nadalyn Larsen.
From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene.
