One of several shots I took of the Grand Canyon at sunrise through mid-morning. Photo editing was an attempt to impart the feeling I had at the time when viewing the scene as opposed to a thoroughly realistic image. I enjoy all views of the canyon but to me the views from the West rim are especially nice because you can also see the Colorado River so nicely. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.

From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene.
