As I was passing by I spotted this dark hallway leading to the back entrance to a French Quarter building. You can slightly see the curved banister to the entrance to the building. When these building were built, these stairways frequently led to a kitchen or servants' quarters. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.

From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device.
