The lighting was very dim where I saw this large conch shell and I wasn't sure if the shot would come out at all. When I saw the finished product I was quite taken by the soft and almost sensual quality of the piece. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.

Interesting composition, if you didn't tell me what it is I would have guessed it was part of a human figure but being a conch shell makes it so much better
