This is an abstract I made from a photo of an early Edison light bulb, currently in the Stockyard Museum in the Fort Worth Texas Stockyard district. The bulb, originally from the Palace Theater, has been burning for 112 years as of September 21,2020. It is featured in the Guiness Book of World Records as the second longest burning bulb in the world, (the longest burning bulb is 7 years older and is in Livermore, CA.) The original bulb were designed to never burn out. GE couldn't make money like that. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.
From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device. Despite my challenges, I have traveled throughout the US and internationally, capturing the world from my perspective. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to contact me through this site if you have questions or requests. Also, please feel free to comment on any work that you find...
