This is Montclair, aka Monty. He is a resident, along with his mate and 2 cygnets, at my mother's retirement home. He is extremely temperamental and aggressive despite his beautiful and gentle appearance. His unfolding wings were so beautiful they reminded me of flower buds unfolding. This is such an elegant image. I love the way the swan's feathers resemble the overlap of rose petals. It's a truly beautiful representation of the beauty in nature.
