Mannequins in vintage clothing photographed through a shop window with the reflection of the building across the street. Look like apparitions of women who once lived in the French Quarter house reflected. Original photograph by Nadalyn Larsen.
From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device. Despite my challenges, I have traveled throughout the US and internationally, capturing the world from my perspective. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to contact me through this site if you have questions or requests. Also, please feel free to comment on any work that you find...

Nikolyn McDonald
Very cool reflections and, as Dominique says, super-impressions - I love the way it looks as if the center model is leaning on the crosspiece of the window frame. The arched window of the house across the street are perfect for the vintage look here. Great capture. Congratulations on your tie for 1st place in the recent Fashion Display contest.
Nadalyn Larsen replied:
Thank you, Nikolyn, for the great comment! This shot is an example of being at the right place at the right time. It was very early in the French Quarter and the rising sun was giving everything a pink glow. And, as you said, the reflection was perfect.
