One of several shots I took of the Grand Canyon at sunrise through mid-morning. Photo editing was an attempt to impart the feeling I had at the time when viewing the scene as opposed to a thoroughly realistic image. With this piece I feel the morning mist gathering as the sun begins to rise. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.

From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene.
