Description
Taken at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine. The site is the country's only surviving shipyard where large wooden sailing vessels were once made. This building was used to bend and mold the long planks used on the hull of the ship. Steam was used to make the wood pliable. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.
