Thank you for the feature of this photo in the WILDLIFE ONE A DAY group.

Artist's Description

On a visit to Yellowstone National Park we spied a group of female, young, and immature male long horn sheep. It is my understanding that the mature males only join these groups during breeding season. They herd was quite a distance away and this was the only one I could get successfully in the range of my lens. He obviously has started growing what will someday be an impressive set of curled horns. it was early spring so he still had his heavy winter coat, though it does show sign of molting. What a rare site.. It was a great experience to see the herd so close. Original photo by Nadalyn Larsen.

About Nadalyn Larsen

Nadalyn Larsen

From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device. Despite my challenges, I have traveled throughout the US and internationally, capturing the world from my perspective. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to contact me through this site if you have questions or requests. Also, please feel free to comment on any work that you find...
