Walking out of our motel room near Big Bend National Park early one morning, I saw this hanging from the limb of a tree just outside our door. I didn't recall it from the day before and it looked like it had been deliberately hung there. But what is it? How did it get wrapped up into a ball and carefully hung there? From the Artist: I am a photographer with an eclectic eye. I shoot anything that catches my attention, whether a detail of a larger object or the expanse of a landscape. When photographing places or events, I strive to convey the feeling or impression I felt from the experience as much as sharing the scene. I like to experiment with my art, particularly creating abstract photographs. I am challenged to take my photos from the seat of a mobility device.
